i can small rust,decay and death in the city ... did u ever enter secondhand cloth shop all the cloth smell death ብል ብል ይላሉ ዙሪያው በሙሉ በሞትና በእርጅና የተዋጡ ይመስላሉ። አሁን ምን ያረጋል ውሽት መናገር ይህቺ ቮልስቫገን በደንብ እንደተያዘች ያስታውቃል በአመት አንዴ ብቻ የምትነዳ ይመስላል ብዙ አይነት እንክብካቤ የተደረገባት ይመስላል ። አዲስ መኪና የዛሬ አምሳ አመት ከመምጣት ቆሞዋል። ይህ ከተማ ኩባን ያስታወስኛል በእምባርጎ ሚክኒያት ሁሉ ነገር የቆመው ስዓት መቁጠሩን ያቆመው አምሳ አመት ገደማ ነው ። ሁሉ ነገር ልክ አሜሪካኖች ትተውት እንደሄዱ ነው። ኤርትራም ልክ ጣሊያኖች ትተውት እንደሄዱ ነው።
ከተማው በሙሉ ነው የሞት ጠረን ያለው ሁሉም እድሜው ከስባ ስባት በላይ ስለሆነ ምንም ወደፊት የሚያዩት ነገር የለም ለማን ብለው ነው ቤቱን የሚያስድስት ሞታቸውን ከመጠበቅ በስተቀር ምንም አይነት ተስፋ የሌለበት ከተማ ነው። ቡና ቤት ስትገባ ማዘዝ አይጠበቅብህም ት ህዛዥ ይመጥልሀል መክፈል ካልፈለግህ ዝም ብለህ መወጣት ነው ያውቃሉ በወር መጨረሻ ጡረታህ ሲመጣ እንደምትከፍላቸው ። እንደወም ቡናህን ለመጠጣት ካልመጣህ ሞተሀል ተብሎ ስወ ተልኮ ቼክ ያረጉሀል በጣም የተሳሰረ ከተማ ነው። ሽማግሌዎች ሽልለው መጥተው ቀኑን ሙሉ አንድ ቡና አዘው ማታ ነው ቤታቸው የሚገቡት ቲቪ የለም ሬድዬ የለም እድሜ ለሳውድያ አረብያ ከዚያ ፊልም ጠልፈው እንዳያዩ ምጣድ ቤቱ ላይ የስቀለ ታክስ ስዎች መጥተው ያዋክቡታል ስለዚህ ምንም እንቅስቃሴ የለም ከተማ ውስጥ ያ ያረጀ ጦሊያናቸውን እያወሩ የድሮ ት ዝታቸውን ይቀጫሉ መኪና ቢነዳ የትም አይሄዱም ስራ ቦታ የለም ስራተኛ የሚቀጥር ሁሉ ጡረተኛ ነው። ስኞ እና እሁድ አንድ አይነት ነው ስዓት ግዜ የቆመበት ከተማ ነው። አወይ ኤርትራ ማ አስመራ እንባዬ ረገፈ ላንቺ ወብ ከተማ ግድ የለም ትግሬዎች የመጣሉ ያንን ስካራም ንጉሳቹሁን ይዘረግፉታል አስመራም ቀን ይወጣላታል

The proof is in the pudding you hasadat and jealouse agames.
Asmara was as beautiful as it is sine the late 1800 and beginning of the 1900 when every African capital city was not a city.
In 1974 when I was riding a bus to Addis university we logically passed by mekele and believe you me there was only one asphalted road….which was the road from Asmara to Addis and no freaking other streets and buildings.
And that is why the 300 thousand agames instead of going to their capital city Addis they flooded Eritrea to slave in our households and clean Asmara’s streets and of course begging which the pieces of injerras we gave the old agames became the benefit to all the nowadays young agames.
Think about it, if we didn’t give them our left overs they wouldn’t have produced sperms and eggs to produce these snotty agame form members of this site and all the agames.
And Asmara and our other cities were planned by Italians engineers but were built by Eritrean sweat. Besides the Italians left it as it while Sellassie and Mengistu tried to destroy them.
The likes of meles saw Asmara and were jealous of it that they start building mekele trying to make it look like Asmara after the 100 years old existence of Asmara by stealing Ethio money and is just a superficial little town with empty buildings which were wickedly intended to be housing for other nations diplomats offices empty dream.
Well Asmara is the only city in the world which is inscribed as a heritage site by UNESCO in its entirety…. No other city in the world have that title or recognition.
Cherry picking some dilapidated old buildings which exist in all the world cities including the USA, Europeans cities and certainly Addis, specially mekele and other African cities doesn’t define Eritrea.
Eritrea is sweet, delicious, very comfortable and easily accessible to go from point A to B and of course the most peaceful city in the world.
So we know when the filthy agames talk sh’it about Asmara and Eritrea is because of jealousy and admiration.
I mean, how come agames downgrade it and at the same time they say….we’ll it was built by the Italians. Doesn’t that mean that Asmara is beautiful?
If it is ugly like mekele or any other African or world cities, “the Italians built it” should not come in the equation.
But our priority unlike the rest of the African countries to work Eritrea from the rural to the urban, so we believe unlike the rest of the African baboons we don’t believe our capital city is the whole country. Our people….all of them are. Asmara might need a touch up here and there, but those jobs are minor and will be done after the gap of the life styles of all our population is narrowed and all eat equally from the pie.
And I challenge all you agames or any national to bring me any world city which got 1000ds songs dedicated to it except Asmara. Including in Amharic, Italian, Japanese, English, Arabic and 9 Eritrean ethnic languages etc.
Asmara is not like any city. It is like a candy shop or Disney world. It is a jaw opening city when you see at the infrastructures. And the inside of the building are second to none in their design and beauty.
A freaking 20 story square building is an eye sore. In Asmara there is some unique designs which make the city different, unique and beautiful. I mean I see lots of higbruse building in the USA or Europe but that is it see it and move on. In Asmara any national will stand for 5 minutes or more dropping their jaws to examine and admire the structures.
Man, that is why we Eritreans always say that we love Asmara more than any nationals who say so.
But then again seeing is believing.

Every Eritrean life is intertwined with the beautiful memories of Asmara and their respective neighborhoods.
