The big merchants are so well connected with the political establishment which is a carry over from the TPLF era. These merchants are in a state of confusion which way to flow for they are not sure about the governing style of the current officeholders. They are creating instability by excessively manipulating the market so that the Gov't won't be doing what it ought to. They still are yearning for the return of the TPLF mafia. By going harder on such key market players on the other hand, the gov't is afraid that it might bring the entire system down and with it the downfall of the Gov't itself. Generally, the Gov't also seems to have aversion to competence and loyalty to country to move in the direction of angering the already rooted corrupted bureaucracy.

Boycott by the people, in order to work, has to be sustainable to the extent that could threaten the very existence of the merchants. The merchants go to a great length to make sure that the appearance of shortage in demand has the desired impact on the political establishment. One recent example is some of those merchants went to Arsi and bought huge amount of Onion directly from the farmers and let it rot on the farm. Others have done same with pepper production in the south. I am not even scratching the lack of transportation in Amhara region to bring the produce to markets.
One should ask what the end game of the current leadership is to see the whole picture---- which I assume you know

በሬ እኮ በኮንትሮፓንድ ወደ ውጭ ይወጣል ዋጋውን ከቀነስክበት ጁቡቲ ዋጋ ጨምራ ገዝታ ምንም ከብት ሳይኖራት እኮ የአረብ አገሮችን የምትልከው እሱዋ ናት ። ታድያ አንተ ዋጋ አዲስ ውስ ጥ ስትቀንስ ገበሬው ለጅቡቲና ለስማሌ ይሽጣሉ ማለት ነው።

ይህንን የጅቡቲ አሻጥር ወይኔ ብቻ ነው የነቃባቸው በደርግ ዘመን ጀምሮ የአርቦችን ገበያ የተቆጣጠሩትን ገብያ ወይኔዎች እኛ ቀጥታ እንልካለን ሲሉ ጁቡቲዎቹ ለአረቦቹ ነግረው እኛ ጋ ለሳምንት ለሁለት ሳምንት ቆይተው ካልመጡ በሽታ የታመሙ ከሆን በሽታው ዱባይ ይገባል ብለው አሳምነው ። ኢትዬዽያኖች ሳይውዱ በሬዎቻችንን ኮራንቲ ማስያዝ ጀመርን ፣ ለዚያም ጅቡቲ ትልቅ ገንዘብ ት ስራ ጀመረች ፣ ከጥቁር ገበያ ስትከለከል በዚህ ዜዴ መጣች ። ታድያ ብልጦቹ ወያኔዎች በሬዎን በሉካንዳ አስርደው ስጋውን ብቻ በአይሮፕላን በመላክ እጥፍ ድርብ ዋጋ ማግኘት ጀመሩ ። ለዚህም ጥሩ ዋጋ ለገበሬዎች መክፈል ነበረባቸው። እና ብዙ ኢንቨስተር ከውጭ የሚመጡ ሁሉ በዚህ ንግድ ገቡበት።

አሁን ግን መንግስት ስንፍና ነው እንዲህ በግና የዶሮ ዋጋ ያስወደደው ፣ መወደዱ ጥሩ ነው ብዙ ኢንቨስተር ወድ ገበያው ገብተው ዋጋ ይቀንሳል። ደግሞ አበሻ ክርስታኖች ናቸው ሁለት ወር በሙሉ ወተት አይጠጡ፣ ታድያ ወተት አርቢዎቹ ወተቱን ምን ያርጉት ስለዚህ የወተት ፍላጎት በጣም አስተማማኝ አይደለም። ግን ለዚህም ዘዴ አለው በጉዳዴ ፆም ወተቱን ወድ ቅቤና አይብ መቀየር ይቻላል ገበያው እስከሚመለስ።

Unless people get organized and take it to the streets, posting the price of a chicken on YouTube is not going to bring any change. I SO THE hearvestors putting out to much smoke.. the diseal come from Arab county... so where is the advantage... we r wasting to much money buying black gold so what is the best alternative using electric tractor and i have one for u from John Deere. once one mega farmer brought tractor from india and our soil to hard for the indian tractor so he have to replace them with American tractors ... hence we should be careful what we buy.

I SO THE hearvestors putting out to much smoke.. the diseal come from Arab county... so where is the advantage... we r wasting to much money buying black gold so what is the best alternative using electric tractor and i have one for u from John Deere. once one mega farmer brought tractor from india and our soil to hard for the indian tractor so he have to replace them with American tractors ... hence we should be careful what we buy.
