These whole thing started when some Eritreans started to scold us when we rejoice the untimely death of this evil man. They defended him because he is Eritrean.

And the statement that says he is "Ethiopian" or "Oromo" is a wrong one. He uses that cover to spew hate amongst Ethiopians. As I said earlier, he was demoted by Shabia security services for the methodology he used which goes against Shabias principle. In 2007, Shabia has no interest on spewing hate between Amharas and Oromos. But he did that and tried to convince them based on the memo that was found in his own bag.

So, the herd mentality of some Eritreans here to defend this guy goes against our people. It also goes against the security services of Eritrea to the point where they demoted him and gave himtasks unrelated to what he enjoys doing.

Tesfaye was doing TPLF a favour when he spew hate amongst Ethiopians. So it is very unprincipled to support this guy and I know low IQ grades are supporting him. You and brother Cigar are not in this list

But a few days ago he was begging on Facebook to be buried in his home country (do not know if it was Ethiopia or Eritrea he meant) and that it was his last wish. He even said that he tried to kill himself but did not succeed and that he will try again that night.

The news that he passed away due to illness is what I found to be strange, just as strange is when someone tries to generalize the values of an entire people due to the position of some individuals about certain events.

Anyway, whether he is good or evil he is already dead. And nothing can be done against him. It is up to God to judge him just as he is to do to all of us.

I have no words to express my sadness at seeing these pictures. It's heartbreaking. If it was established that it was his books that triggered all these heinous crimes. He should have been challenged while he was still alive. If not in Ethiopia it should have been done abroad. Many critical books in different languages should have been written and his references carefully analyzed to at least reduce its inpacts on people's feelings towards another is my opinion.

Indeed, as has been said, tesfaye is gifted on Amharic literature. He used that skill to write books after books. Almost all of his claims to be historian is debunked by Dr Negasso Gidada in which he is a historian himself. He said this about Tesfaye.

"Tesfaye is acting to be more Oromo than we Oromos. I earned my Doctorial degree on Oromo history and there is nothing in Oromo history that says Menilik marched to arsi to cut breasts. He sent his general (Oromo by descent) Gobena Dache and ras Gobena did not commit such crime Tesfaye wrote"

As to procecuting him, it was really difficult because Tesfaye had the support of ESAT & Ginbot-7. The people behind ESAT are Southerners and Oromos and they always avoid to be associated with Amhara. Infact, they were operating against Amhara.

Tesfaye used to release his books using TPLF publishers. Once he cut ties with TPLF, Ginbot-7 publishing enterprise strike a business with Tesfaye and helped him release 2 more books. He and Ginbot-7 got into disagreement on the 3rd book particularly one chapter that is full of hateful propoganda titled "chaltu as Helen". They asked him if chaltu is a real person or fictional character and he admitted that she is a fictional character. They asked him to remove that chapter for them to go ahead and accept the business. He refused and they broke ties. Mind you Dr.Birhanu Nega had a testimony on the back of two of tesfaye's books and Birhanu was seen as a Messiah by gullible Amharas and Ethiopianists.

Tesfaye is clever, he moved to Jawar Mohammad and the OLF community. He continued to preach hate and attacked Ethiopianists including Ginbot-7. When he published that book, they got it and released the PDF online twarting Tesfaye's revenue. When an attempt to link him to genocide, he departed Netherland for good and moved to Eritrea. He continued his hate from there which only attracted Oromos who are pro separation from Ethiopia. The likes of Jawar, Shene and OLF.

So the guy is very controversial
