Defend,

Glad Oromo coming to its senses. Know that those Oromo heroes in the past did not embrace Egyptian flag (Black, Red, White), did not embrace latin writing. This was made up in order to separate Oromo from Ethiopia. Ethiopia is Green Yellow Red, is Giez, is many languages and cultures including Oromo. What is worse the Olf therew out former heroes who died for Ethiopia giving no credit, to be forgotten. Teach Oromo youth based on true and not this imported colonize-mind embracing Arab flag as Oromo's symbol (which never was seen before), or latin. Viva Oromo!

ethio unity,

That flag, that you speak of, has nothing to do with Egypt, it was an Oromo made flag. The Latin script was the best fitting script for Afaan Oromo, the same way it was the best for other Cushitic languages. Ethiopia is not just ge'ez, unless you equate the church with Ethiopia, and make Muslims 2nd class citizens as they were under previous regimes in ''emiye ethiopia,'' ge'ez a dead language which is only in churches, and keep in mind that Ethiopia's at LEAST half Muslim, once again, to remind you.

One of the biggest form of self serving petty extremism or micro extremism is that you think others are selling themselves, their identities, their cultures etc, natural diversities in order to take up puffy baboon red neck chauvinist extremist values and identities.

All Ethiopian nations and nationalities are individually remain themselves with all of their beautiful diversities while at the National level remain firmly loyal to their country ETHIOPIA.

That is why even in the past lots of brave Oromos and some others came to save Mamma Ethiopia at every critical historical moments and turning points and saved Mamma Ethiopia from going extinct, completely extinct to say the least. What they do with their own regional languages and regional flags, regional food, regional production, regional musics, regional songs etc, is their own business because being themselves and being satisfied means Ethiopia being satisfied and strengthened. BINGO!

Very few examples when dedicated and decisive Oromo patriots to be mentioned are Abune Petros (Magarsa Badhaasa) who publicly denounced the Italian colonial army in Addis Ababa and got immediately executed savagely and brutally on the spot. Another uncancelled super hero was general Abdisa Aga who took up arms organized citizens and started fighting the over armed, over drinking and over fed Italian occupation forces, killing lots of them, wounding lots of them and chasing lots of them all over the places until the Italian military secret services managed to capture, jailed and sent him to Italy to rote in the Italian jail.

Patriot Abdisa Aga broke the Italian jail, freed his compatriots from the Italian jail and formed an unbeatable fighting guerilla unit in Italy itself. His unit attracted lots of ant fascist forces both from Italy, Yugoslavia and several European countries both east and west. As the fighting raged fascist forces started geting weaker and weaker with each passing days and months finally getting totally defeated when the allied forces were finally able to link with Abdisa Aga's forces and award him with Victory Medal. It was much long after that when King Haile selassie (Teferi Mekonnen Gudisa Nagawo) has to come home from exile through Sudan. Oromnos meeting Oromos!

So please watch your dirty lose mouth before you get sexed up, undress your tattered pants and start spitting junk from your loose mouth!

The character Tadiyalehu of this forum was writting recently in here about the similarities between the Hibraw language and Afan Oromo.

The other character calling himself yabello, but in reality gadi-galoo, was also writing the extent to which the Oromos are present all over the horn and east African regions. If there is any grain of truth in such claims, then the fact that the Oromo Flag and that of the Egyptians looked similar is not much surprising, becaue the apple will not fall far from the tree or something similar goes the saying.

About throwing out of the former Heroes I think you better now refer to the book "Medemer", by His Excellency PM of Ethiopia, Dr. Abiy Ahmed and try to understand the message therein.

Religions:
Muslim 55%, Ethiopian Orthodox 35%, animist 12%, other 3%-8%
