Agame are very vulnerable. Ethiopian generals should get out of the defensive mode and start to attack. Encircle the scattered and over-extended Agame rag-tag army. They are tired and depleted. They are only desperately trying to do something by Nov 4. After that, they will be a demoralized rump. Encircle them. Cut the roads. That is not so difficult.

There cannot be a better time than now to trap and destroy Weyane beyond repair as their army is scattered all over the place as you put it rightly, however we are talking about a federal army which poorly trained, less motivated and badly managed by the so called generals. With all the superiority in air and ground force the federal force enjoys, Weyane would have been history by now. To the contrary though TPLF is making a mockery of the Ethio Defence Force by roaming into the enemy territory at will. The TPLF rag-tag militia was defeated on the Afar front, the Western front, the nothern approach to Gonder thru Aderkay and Debark, and the Southern approach thru Gashena and Gayint. It is not like the ENDF is facing some formidable, well-trained and well-armed enemy. The Wollo terrain should have been easy to defend. The Agames are using human-wave tactics and perhaps the ENDF is tired of killing them. But still, spread as they are, it should be easy for any army to annihilate them.

I can't agree with your assessment more. It is very easy to annihilate the agame rag tag simply because they are scattered and minimize as you have correctly stated. However, I am very disappointed by the Ethiopian Government and Amhara militia for the fact that they are just only defending instead of attacking... They need to mix it up... You can't just be reactive and expect to win.

I feel very sorry that the Amhara people, Amhara militia and Fanno might be handcuffed by the Federal and Amhara Regional government to stay idle....

Personally, I believe that Amhara pride in at stake...even though I believe the people of Amhara, Amhara militias and Fanos will eventually annihilate the agame rag tag...

The so-called Agame Generals war strategy has been bludgeoning their way into their destination, no matter what the cost is. As always, their focus is on PR and form rather than a substance. Not only militarily (at least temporarily), but also politically it would have been suicidal for them not to enter Dessie. They had to show something to their followers why life has frozen and why it's hell, for more than a year in that god forsaken land........... I'm not sure though if the city is fully controlled by them, but occupying a big city like Dessie would tie down a large portion of their manpower and resource. Besides, their rear has been badly exposed since they have been too fixated on some consolation battle winnings and the hope of ultimately returning to Addis, and subsequently moved their major manpower on only one front......a recipe for disaster. I don't believe focusing too much on massacaring their ill-trained ragtag militia on warfront is an effective strategy to subdue these bandits......Like the northern lions say- ጉይይ ካብ ምውዓል ክሳድ ምሓዝ! And there is a great chance of that happening.......
