Why did the Amharas chose Dawit Wolde Giorgis to lead them this time and not in 2005/2007 or 2017/2018? Why he chose to act the way he did beyond OPDO? What goes around comes back around.

No body chose Dawit to lead the Amhara or any Ethiopian for that matter. As an individual Ethiopian, he is doing his on his own.

But the Ethiopians and the peoples in the neighbouring countries see it as a decision by the Amhara people and backed by the Amhara administration officials and politicians. He is doing a good job and deserves the support of the Amharas. The Tigray and Eritrea peoples will also benefit
