Re: ወንዝም እናሰራለን!!
People may think this is GERD, But it is not. It is the man made Kerkebet dam in Eritrea.
Re: ወንዝም እናሰራለን!!
Beware, Geregera and Kerkebet are two different dams, one in Zoba Debub and the other in Gash Barka

Re: ወንዝም እናሰራለን!!
i think u r misunderstood the difference between dam and hydro dam ... what Ethiopia have is hydro dam ...we generate hydro and we still have water as lake lay be hide the hydro dam
what Eritrea have u dont even call it dam .. u might call it checkdam very small dam to collect water it doesnt produce hydro ... Ethiopia also have this kind of dam in 1000 place...but we dont count those those are not big enough for us to count it...
there is a saying those who never seen Nile river they celebrate spring water.. that is u Eritrea
Re: ወንዝም እናሰራለን!!
The primary purpose of the Eritrean dams is to make Eritrea water and food sufficient. Eritreans have built over 800 small and large dams since independence. Almost every village has built a small dam that ensures its water needs. Self-reliance is the religion in Eritrea
