የዓለም ጤና ድርጅት ከዚህ በፊት ስለአፍናጫና አፍ መሸፈኛ ጭምብል አጠቃቀም አውጥቶት የነበረውን መመሪያ መለወጡን አስታወቀ። ድርጅቱ ቀደም ብሎ የህክምና ጭምብል መጠቀም ያለባቸው የጤና ሠራተኞች፣ የኮሮናቫይረስ ህሙማንና የህሙማኑ እንክብካቤ የሚያደርጉ ሰዎች ብቻ ሊሆኑ እንደሚገባ መክሮ ነበር። የዓለም ጤና ድርጅት አሁንም የህክምና ጭምብል በስፋት በሁሉም ሰው መጠቀም የለበትም ያለ ሲሆን፤ ነገር ግን ከተለያዩ ጨርቆች የሚዘጋጁና እጥረት የማይኖርባቸውን አስፈላጊ ከሆነም ቤት ውስጥ ማዘጋጀት የሚቻሉትን ጭንብሎት መጠቀም እንደሚቻል ገልጿል።
