Many and many claimed Africa could be devastated by Coronavirus and they said many could be infected and die. But nothing happened yet, but the reverse is coming true. Amazingly, the death rate is still very low. The recovery rate is staggering high in almost all African countries. It is surprising to see majority of African countries haven’t seen any infection and death so far. Although others have seen substantially higher infection rate, the death rate stood zero. Notably Uganda and Rwanda are good examples. In these countries the number and recovered stand above 50% , and the number of people died still count zero.

Some countries look scared from showing the true value to gain political momentum. Probably they scared announcing bad news will spoil their leadership in the country. Ethiopia and Eritrea are among them, who are totally untrustworthy. Eritrea almost blocked any information on this issue.

Well, Africa’s performance in the past days especially as of April 26 can be generally summarized as:

The total infected people in sub-Saharan African countries (excluding Arab countries) = 15, 143
The total number of people who died in sub-Saharan countries stood at= 383 (which is 2.5% compared to Africa itself)
The number of people recovered in sub-Saharan countries is = 5,659 ( 27% compared to Africa itself)


African Arab countries also recorded:
Total infection = 12, 622
Total death= 924( 7.3% compared to themselves)
Recovery= 3,375(27% compared to itself)

Whites recorded (as of April 26):
Total death= 175, 948( 86%)
Africa’s death compared to the whole world stand below 0.002%

As things come late to Africa the worst is not behind them, it is in front of them specially Addis Ababa, Amhara and part of Oromo near Addis Ababa. Kenya, South Africa, Rwanda will be hit hard since many foreigners come and go.

But the situation is different for Africa. people are recovering fast in all African countries. I think they don't like this truth including United Nation but they want to shed their crocodile tears for Africa . Africa is showing the world how it is strong and coming as world leader.

They should be because they are open society and travels a lot and have all their business tied to china but the reason it is slow in Africa is due to business inactivities to the outside world but the virus will be with us like Aids did to Africa unless vaccine is being found early on.
