Mekelle is going t be the political and cultural capital city of Ethiopia, as it embodies the historical Ethiopia. Addis Abeba or Fin Finne will remain the financial and diplomatic capital city of Ethiopia.

Emperor Yohannes Palace should be the sit of the president of Tigray. It is a nice building andcan be renewed and a modern building added to it like did Mengesha Seyoum. There should be continuity of history. We should leave this Marxist idea of distancing from Emperors or Kings. We should be reforming the past and build a modern democratic society fitting the times.

Menelik copied everything from Tigray when he went to battle the Italians. The (Sewhi Negus) is a large field with grass in front of Yohannes IV palace. Menelik or Haile Selassie named Janhoy Meda in addis Ababa similar to what we have in Mekelle. We are all Ethiopians or Africans or Blacks. But it would be good if the Shoans recognize what Tigray is and thank the people of Tigray.

The parliament should be in Mekelle. Addis Ababa can remain the diplomatic and financial capital of Ethiopia and Africa or even of the world. This way we can unite Ethiopia better by involving the historical Tigray more. Some countries in the world have 2 capital cities. The Netherlands has Amsterdam (finance) and The Hague (Parliament). So could Ethiopia have 2 capital cities one for internal affairs as parliament, another for Africa and rest of the world which Addis could be.
