Looted businesses closed in Qosye, Enseno and Welkite. Burnt schools and clinics not rebuilt, especially in Qosye, near the Gurage/Hadiya border. Families whose members were killed or seriously beaten in Welkite, Enseno and Qosye abandoned their homes and fled elsewhere for safety in their 10s of 1000s. Displaced farmers from Mesqan, about 60,000 of them have not returned to their homes and farms.
Despite the fact that Gurage has been a war zone since the 2000s, Ethiopia doesn't consider Gurage is a war affected region to allow extra budgets to rebuild the econimy because the terrorists(the Hadiya organized thugs, the Qebena and Mareqo armed terrorists) are its own clandestine armed wings, organized, armed and protected by Ethiopia.

More vexatious than Ethiopia's criminal behavior is the silence of organized Gurages such as Kerta Global and International Association of Gurages, and the complete absence of grassroots opposition to Ethiopian government supervised violence against the Gurage people.

Big Gurage businesses outside of Gurage are affraid to invest or discouraged from investing in Gurage due to lack security to businesses and human lives. Business tycoons like forner marathoner Haile Gebre Haile Sellasie who has roots in Gurage is even ashamed to say the word Gurage from where his father is from.
One abbatoir case in point. One of the Abbatoirs that fed Welkite's around 150,000 people is a big financial investement. The building. The water supply, electricity, freezers, and labs and vet technicians, meat handling machines. Labor. Etc.
It farmed its slaughter animals. It also purchased sluaughter animals and kept them in its yard until slaughtere day.
One night early this year, a group of armed terrorists killed the security guard, took the keys from him and stole all the animals.
The abbatoir business remains closed.
Gurage is going down the drain flushed by its internal enemies which are aided and abetted by Ethiopia.
Who will cry for Gurage?

Wurage got the top Penete-Qoste churches producing many youth prophets - you should be thankful to the Beshasha pente and his Wurage followers like the pastor Odie the Unise.x.
I think you should Wurages accountable for their own failure of not standing for their right. They have to fight tough.
