1. EPRP style suppression and ostracization of its members suspected of not satisfying extreme Amarannet ideology and mindset
2. Some among the above would be accused of being spies and assassinated
3. It assassinates Gurage farmers, traders or any resident of Abeshge and Welkite City suspected of being
snitches to PP Gov of Gurage Zone or ENDF Command Posts
4. It assassinates Gurages as it does Amara individuals who fail to heed its warnings from doing their official duties. Dr. Ambachew and others are the most widely reported victims but so many other crimes are untold stories.
The recently assassinated Abeshge dad with his son while working on their farm is one example out of many.
5. You can't drive through the Gibe River Valley Park without being stopped by Amara Fano in Gurage. If you are lucky, you pay huge money to continue to go to Jimma or you are shot, wounded or killed.
