Aynelel a.k.a Kistane seems to be a province of Ethiopia as early as 13th century if Amde Tsion chroniclers wrote about it. Mind you, we all know Amde Tsion is Amhara and he was able to preserve the state together with Kistane's early history. Yet Bekele (Horus) comes and tells us stories he pull from his rectum.

There is no doubt that the Galla migration in the 16th century changed—and, in most cases, destroyed—a great deal in Ethiopia. The surviving fragments of many tribal communities in the South are proof of that historical accident. The fact that there is not one Wurage ethnic group sharing similar languages could be attributed to the intrusion of the Galla in the 16th century. Places and people changed their names. A place once named by the indigenous tribe might have been renamed.
Unfortunately, in the case of Wurage, this process is still very active, with the OLF still wanting to claim more, as we are hearing that the Sidama are still experiencing fresh losses to Galla under Shimelis Abdisa. Sidama activists were once serious Wutaf-neqay to the OLF and ignored others' advice - as is Horus, Sodo Wurage-Galla, has been doing extreme Wutaf-neqella.

What's the Gurage inititiave to lose lands?
If it has initiatives, it's the initiative of losses 360°; losses in lands, peace, commerce, history and language.
