A city of 6-8 million people suffered reverse discrimination by dilapedated roads and bridges, municipal buildings, shortages of treated water, garbage pile ups all around the neighborhoods, polluted rivers, high crimes, etc.

To begin with, Addis Ababians never identified themselves with any ethnic group. And this has cost them over time, not knowing the [deleted] and Galla tribal political goal is charted that way. For the [deleted] Woyane, Addis Ababa served just like colonial port cities established on the ocean shoreline where they can loot the entire country and transport via the port city to develop their own cities back home like Paris, London, etc.

The Woyanes' displaced dozens of Wurages from Markato and replaced them by Ag@mes; and chased away Wurage street hawks and Chilo-listros from streets. And now, the Gallas took the next level - destroy any hub where Wurages my shelter to do any sort of business (legal or illegal). This has reduced Wurages to kneel down and beg Galla - do extreme Wutaf-Neqellas.

The problem with Addis Ababians is they have a very confused self-identification, and yet politically not civilized or much lower in political consciousness depsite the city being the capital seat. Addis Ababians culture is dominated by opportunism, cowardice and being easy sell-outs; they do not rationally think and question why price of goods and service abruptly increase; they do not hold their cadre leader accountable - Addis Ababians are politically coward and timid. Addis Ababians behavior is very much like the city of Wurage's Welkite - the more Qeeroo kicked or shot them, the more they respect and follow Qeerroo even putting the Aba-Geday Peni.s structure on their forehead.

Yes, the zombi Zenawi felt Addis did not accept him when he came from dedebit with his lice, infact downllooked on him so he wanted to revenge the city by making filthy pooing and peeing ground. TPLF called gurage ግልገል ነፍጠኛ because gurage failed to sign into ethnic politics at his wish. He revenged Gurage by refusing providing kilil, removing silte from gurage and agitating minorities among gurage to distabilize gurage. He also influxed Tigre into Merkato and contraband to hurt gurage business.
OPDO is developing a city it calls its own and international city by assuming investment in the city will also benefit the Oromos living in and arround Aaddis. Developing addis and its surrounding for business is at the interest of all Oromos and nearby ethiopians unlike the Tigre and others who see the city ባጣ ቆየኝ!

Governments can print money as much as they want but when the money is not chasing resources that basically means inflation & high cost of living. soon or later a revolt is inevitable.

Taxes aside (not a big amount in Ethiopia) the PP government has two main sources of money. Printing & foreign loans & donations.
Good money is chasing after bad money (war). Add to the non resource based city decorations and through it corruption.

Addis is geographically in the Oromia region, not in Amara. If its chartered city status is revoked, it should be administered by Oromia as any other city in Oromia.
A simple logic dictates this to happen.
You keep the present regions, Oromo gets Addis.

Is that how your logic runs? First, ethnic or tribal system is no where common except in the Galla and Ag.@me system. It is an internationally banned thing - because it promotes genocide and unstoppable inter tribal violence. The very reason Hadiya and Marqo or Galla -Qerroo are harassing the different tribes of Wurage are due to this infectious disease.

Second, the populaton of Addis Ababa is the same size or could even be larger than the so-called Mele Zenawi invented "Oromiya". This fake region is not only inhabited by Galla it is inhabited by many other tribes, there are more Amhara in Arusi, Dire Dawa, Jimma etc than Galla.

By your own logic, Kemissie is a tiny Woreda most the residents Amhara but Meles Zenawi (anti-Amhara Ag@_me) invented it as Oromia zone. This is an arms depot of Galla.

Did you know there were more Wurage in Addis Ababa than Galla, because Galla are pastoralists and nomads whereas Wurage work as seasonal urban workers, small shop owners, street Listors etc.
