The Miracles of Mary (Täʼammərä Maryam): A vast body of hundreds of localized Marian miracle stories developed over centuries, deeply embedding supernatural interventions into daily worship and sermons.
National and Royal Legends: Foundational epics, such as the Kebra Nagast, link Ethiopia's lineage directly to King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba and claim custody of the Ark of the Covenant, blending historical identity with sacred myth.
Apophatic and Mystical Worldview: The traditional Ethiopian worldview does not sharply separate the physical and spiritual realms, making accounts of saints, demons, and divine interventions a normal part of lived faith rather than metaphorical allegory.
