It's because Gurage is gloriuosly Ethiopianist. Its language is Amharic. Its flag is the Solomonic Dynasty's flag of red, yellow and green. You find schools, churches and hospitals and public monuments, sidewalks and road medians all are draped with the flag or painted red, yellow and green. Gurage helps Menelick smile in his grave 6ft deep. Gurage's self-sacrifice for Ethiopia will not stop other nations fighting for more freedoms and justices.
They even have refused to establish Gurage community centers as all others do in Canada, US, Europe or Australia.
Gurage lives to teach other Ethiopians how not to love themselves; instead how to love Ethiopia.
I wish I knew their chauvinist Amara handlers.

Get down from your high horse. You can't fool anyone. If there is a worse ethnic nationalist in Ethiopia, no one matches Gurage & Silte.
All it takes is to interview a Merkato merchant about this topic. Gurage Buys from Gurage only (with reduced price ) and Gurage sells for Everybody (higher price). This hidden evil system of conducting business is well known amongst merchants of other ethnicities now. It is known by TPLF and it is now known by Abiy Ahmed of OPDO. That was why TPLF was hammering Gurages and chased them out of Merkato (a good thing by the way)
What is remains of Gurages in Merkato are being flushed by Abiy Ahmed. Abiy is no shy when he spoke about this leech practice of Gurages. He denied stateshood for Gurage learning all the tricks you play.
So the playbook of listro Gurages is play Ethiopianist on the surface and play Gurage first underneath. The average Joe of course have no clue about this but influential politicians in power and business elites know it very well. So there is no passing for the clever wannabe listro Gurages playing this cheap game.
With social media catching up to your little dirty game, you have no place to hide in Ethiopianist agenda. The same way listro Gurage was chased out of Ethiopianist politics, it will be chased out of business too. And I have a mission to educate the public about this. I make sure listro remains listro
In the end, we will make you buy not from Gurage alone, but from everyone.

I ain't lying. Here are the old and discredited feudal flags everywhere in Gurage. An old flag even Amara progressives dropped but alive in Gurage. A flag under which Gurage has been trampled on its character(thief, pickpocket, majrat mechi or armed robber, listro and against its food as smelly. A flag under which Gurage was discriminated against infrastructure developments including for stagnant towns, forcing young people to flee in search of work in developed cities such as Addis, Hossana, Jimma/Agaro, Dre Dawa, requiring them to learn new languages in strange communities unknown to Gurage youth.

Even Oromo is using the Tigre invented Flag to its end. Flag is a piece of cloth according to dead Zenawi.
Gurage should do better in other things I don’t want to whine about like the Komche bast@rds do in this forum!

You must have read my note from higher up grounds. Come down lower to a Gurage level and see.
Btw, flag is not a piece of clothe. This is one of the numerous mistaken statements Meles Zeradwa made.
International conventions about flags is that they expresses identity of a nation, country, city, empire, or a corporation.
Note that Oromo has its own flag. So does, Sidama, Somali, etc. But not Gurage. Gurage could have a flag which shows asat and a Gurage bet, two cultural icons of Gurage.
You only picked flag for your convenience. But that that is not the only concern I raised. I have raised few of the things Gurages elites chose not to do. Start with the topic of the post.
