PP won 438 out of the 501 Parliamentary seats.

Ethiopia is one of the most divided countries in the world. Abiy Ahmed is impossible to love. Very few love him for causing wars in Amara, Tigrey and Oromo. The people feel he cheated them just so he could consolidate power. Within his first year, he turned into a devil with pretty face. His first year popularity plummated to zeros
in the next 7 years. Imposdible for his party to win 87% of the votes.

Countries that resemble Ethiopia in their civil wars, lawlessness, high cost of living, high inflation and unemployment rates, drought and starvations are Somalia, The Congo, The Sudans, Maynmar, Syria, Libya.
Who would imagine holding a fair elections in these coutries? Who would doubt an election result of nearly 90% for a dictator in these countries is not rigged?

Managed Democracy: Elections without Choice

https://share.google/eu6TOX9sdnJcpn63S

"...elections have not been abolished; they have been institutionalized as tools of autocracy. The substantive democratic architecture these processes were meant to safeguard has been systematically hollowed out. Rather than serving as neutral arenas for the peaceful transfer of power, modern elections are engineered within structural ecosystems defined by executive overreach, asphyxiated civic spaces, compromised judiciaries, and heavily rigged playing fields."
