Everyone on this forum knows I hate you and your government. My position on the child king whom I described as Clown Abiy Ahmed, this is showing a huge contempt to your idolization of Ethiopia's Machiavelli as an Ataturk. I understand not only Ethiopian politics but also Ethiopian history better than you do.

The error in your understanding of politics in general and politics of Aboy Ahmed in particular lies in your answer to what politics should be about, not any politics but progressive, reformist politics, people-centered politics and what its metrics of success should be.

Your government of Ataturk 7th King Clown Abiy Ahmed failed Ethiopia in the metrics of peace and personal securities of persons and properties, improved living standards such as availability of safe drinking water, groceries, electricity, lower transporatation costs, lower gas prices, decrease unemployment rate and stop youth flights to the Middle East and SA/Kenya, increased or better pay than the past, lower income and business taxes, adequate and affordable food supply, decrease in the number of people who need food donations from US, Britain, France and Germany. Your King failed in all the above needed imprivmebts.

He unleashed corruption in his government apparatus against which Ethiopians are now tired of telling him to stop it.

He eroded the self-goverrnment structure of nations as an inalienable rights of internally colonized nations by centralizing all the sovereign powers of the 130 million people inside his palm. This will have earthquake reactions which will nurture more liberation fronts than Ethiopia has had thus far.

Your ignorance of politics lies in the fact your metrics of politics is all about walk ways for rollerblades and skateborads, water fountains, light shows, cleaned rivers and planted trees. Very superficial and have not improved the day-to-day lives of the people of Ethiopia.

When an ignoramus is only happy by himself , that ignorant should be unbothered to know more and be correct because he is harmless to others. But he/she must be stopped when they teaches their ignorance, their errors as truths and wisedoms to others.

Native speakers of Amharic Abere, Misraq, Right and Tiago use English more than your Amharic you learnt as a second language. What's with it for you? More Amara than Amara themselves?

Is tourism , I am not even asking whether it's the best economic policy for obvious reasons of unstable Ethiopia. Is it even worth a third choice for Ethiopia?

Wars are going in the tourist attractive historic regions of Axum, Gonder, Lalibela, Bale. Tourists want to learn about something that is amazing. Axum's obelisks, Rock-hewn Lalibela and Portuguese built Fasil's brick mansion are not really jaw-dropping creations. Not uniques in the world.

Eco-tourism? Does Ethiopia has the Great Garden of Babylon, the Chinese Wall, under ground cities of Persia and Rome, the Forum of Rome, the Panrheons of Athens. An American or Eurooean is not going to visit Ethiopia to see water fountains. A very commonplace thing.
Local tourism, you say? Ethiopians impoverished by high inflation, high cost of everything from oil, gas to groceries, by low wages, increased income taxes, increase rents and transportation costs.

Definitely, Abiy Ahmed made a wrong choice of Tourism as his money pit where he would throw public money into waste. Meles Zenaw was far brighter and made Agriculture-based industrialization as the cornerstone of his economic policy.
