Wurage are a cluster of peoples, not a single linguistic group, speaking different languages such as Silt'e ,Kistane (Soddo),Muher,Chaha,Inor but cannot communicate each other.
Was there some Babylon like incidence 
like the mythology of mount Gura or the Southern semitic Amharic word of Gera(left) and Ge( Side/land) እራስጌ እና ግርጌ - ግራጌ

The question is: Was there a Wurage kingdom or society with common political consciousness, or shared common language or a king or leader who was a common figure? Unlike Hadiya and other tribes like Sidama, Wurage never had one as historic evidence. Thus, it is a legitimate question to ask if in fact such a tribe exists or a phantom name given by Kings to categorize all other groups that do not fall to other proper ethnic groups. That very fact could be the reason why there is no Wurage region/Kilil now.

Provide the very fact why Wurage denied the status of ክልል first by TPLF/EPRDF and recently rejected again by Gala-PP?
Worst of all, wuarge got mocked by Abiy Ahmed and tossed the request into the garbage bin. Well, the reason is clear, wurage does not have common language, history, culture and it is rather collection dissimilar tribes that cannot stand as ክልል. Do your homework visiting dozens of ethnographic and linguistic studies. Fekadu Gedamu (Wurage), who among the oldest cultural anthropologist of the county and took highest position in the country during EPRDF/TPLF and the founding member of ክልል acknowledged Wuarge cannot be ክልል and is not a single ethnic group, unlike other ethnic groups of the country. You lost to Harrari - winner Cabo Verde
