Defensiveness is meaningless after loss because if they go against those they lost to, they will lose more. For example, for Qomaras to start to fight agains Oromo, Sidama, Harar, Gambella, Gumuz, Somali, Tigrey, Eritrea, they know they will lose.
Frustration is state of mind that results from not getting desired results while defense or aggression.
In my mind the word that correctly describes their predicament resulting from historic losses is DELUSION.
