Nothing is worse than trying to be politically correct. Political correctness is what opportunists use at the expense of the greater good of society - to reap off cheap fame or personal or group advantages.
Pente-Qoste should be banned in Ethiopia or at least restrain them not to pollute the deep-rooted belief system of society - they talk about freedom and yet like a straying dog they preyed upon others in streets and bother them trying to shovel their cult.
Almost all Pente_Qoste are supporters of genocidal Abiy Ahmed Ali.

That has been the question for theologians. Debated and resolved it. It has seen centuries. Many faiths allow one form of body movement or another.
Songs accompanied by musical intruments have existed as long as religion did.

The most important thing is, are people doing the song and dance in spirit and understandingly. If the answer is yes, then I don’t care how it is performed as far as it is out of courtesy, in spirit, humility and submission to God!
It is absolutely wrong to say this worship is bad or good as all worships are influenced by local musical culture. It is narrow mindedness!
Each ethnic can worship with its own tradional
musical instruments, voice production and rhythm (it does not have to be yared style of axum non sense)
The problem is the yared Zema, how he had developed it, the lies with his end, topless cross/መቋሚያ are of mysterious origin. The source of the trance on the priests singing is suspicious too. And the song is mostly old testament based and not probably gospel centered, again making it of suspicious origin.
Although yared rhythm and drum got into protestant churches, I have my own suspicion for its origin and the way it is done in orthodox is different!
Yared song is another mystique of orthodox which I am not attracted too and I would not recommend it for devout Jesus centered christian!
