Amara q*mata as your neighbor is hell on earth

Travelling in Gojjam, I met the farming families of the author Abey Gubenya. With tear soaked eyes, a man trying to be a man and not show weakness, he told me how Amaras raided villages, burn crops, kill and beat women and children, kill men, and take away their cattle.
Similarly, I have countless stories of traders in Addis who have owned shops that Amaras report on them to police for contraband goods, without truth. The police come and scare them of being arrested unless they bribed them. Countless stories of Amara neighbors where the mom-and-poo shops otherwise convenience shops also locally known in Ethiopia as Souqs or Kiosks are located, near Amara neighborhoods and they are everywhwre in Addis, they beg to get goods they need on "dube" , a verbal "promise to pay" but they never pay them back bankrupting the businesses.
Amara is a predator. Amara is hell to be associated with. Little wonder the people closest to them such as Qimants, Agews, Tigrey and Eritreans hate them to such annextent that instead of living with them in the same country, either thew would declare independence as Eritrea did or live in a complete autonomy from Amara within Ethiopia such as Oromo, Tigrey, Agew and Qimant want.
