Not that the Listros being a victim of Liprosy as a disease is their own fault and stereotyped by it but they love calling other people Komata.
Here is another fact that will depress the Listros:
“ Despite significant historical progress, leprosy remains a major neglected tropical disease in Southern Ethiopia, with rural southern regions—particularly the Zeway, Gurage, Sidama Region and areas around the city of Sheshamane—bearing a high burden of the illness.”

Proportionally the Listros suffer, of Leprosy, more than any other ethnic groups in Ethiopia. Again it is not their fault.
Facts matter, fictions not.
The 3 main Leprosy medical centres in Ethiopia:
-Shashemene Rehabilitation Center: Established in 1974, it houses residents affected by leprosy and offers occupational opportunities.
-Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHRI): Located in Addis Ababa on Ayer Tena Road
-Jimma Leprosy Rehabilitation Center: Established in 1974, it houses residents affected by leprosy and offers occupational opportunities.

About Gurage and war
Gurage at this time in its history decided not to fight a war fir itself. When a group or an individual is not fighting a war, it's to wrong to impose any judgement, good or bad, about its strategy and bravery at war. Not moral. No ethical.
Of course, it can and should be judged its war history because it's tangible, because there are documented facts to start the conversation and make conclusions.
A person or group when it is not engaged in war shall not be judged on that what it does not do. Fairness demands descency.
