1. I support modernized Ethiopia, all Ethiopians equal Infront of the law and equal citizenship without primary, secondary, tertiary...status within the same country with access to the highest office based on citizenship. Ethiopia should not be a one ethnic feasting nation. Stop worshping only one ethnic heroes while leaving others behind. The history of Ethiopia is everybody's history and should not be celebrated as Amhara history alone. I don't care which ethnics is in 4 kilo as far as that person does the right thing.
2. I believe in Ethiopian renaissance with multifaceted changes in economy, development and culture. I appreciate the current mega projects, city wide changes and allowing ethnics freedom of identity and self-administration. I also understand what is being done is not pain free like all changes come at value. I would prefer Geographic federation than ethnic but ethnic identity and culture should be celebrated equally in the spirit of unity.
3. I strongly believe the Abyssinian political model is wrong, overrated and outdated for a diverse nation like Ethiopia. There should be no one single Ethiopian ethnics that feels more Ethiopian than others as the country was built and sustained by the blood of all. The Abyssinian model of Amharanization + orthodox + the predominance of one ethnic culture has failed miserably. I appreciate any political party ushering in a diversified free political culture and reconstructed Ethiopia where politics and religion are separate and all Ethiopians of different creed or religion belief live together in harmony.
4. I initially supported Fano ideology assuming they had same similar vision. Also, because of civilian death and displacement. However, I witnessed a new ideology emerge stating Fano is "pure blood Amhara" and hate for mixed or diverse Ethiopians giving them the name "Ethiopianist". Ever since the Fano movement is hijacked by Amhara chauvinists, feudal relics and supremacists that state Amhara alone will fight and crush gov and everybody else to bring "Amhara democracy" to Ethiopia as if Amhara is known for good governance in Ethiopia. Fano has no clear ideology, fragmented group and even calls its rebel groups by feudal names. More recently it became associated with enemies of Ethiopia wanting to destabilize the nation. So, now we realize Fano is a farce, not capable of infusing new idea or governance and we see no reason to throw any support to them (material or psychological) at them simply because of hating Oromo or Abiy Ahmed.
I have not changed my ideology. I support change in Ethiopia and migration from imperial and Derg Ethiopia. In my understanding, currently only PP has that ideology and wins over all other organized groups.
Re: odie never changed position. His vision and principles remain the same.
