More than anything, it is genetic of East African and West African.

In East Africa, people are tall and slim specially the lower part of their bodies and fit for long distance running and basketball playing but they are not good short distance running and soccer games. The west African are good short distance running and excellent for soccer sport due to their lower bodies are very strong and short size well fit for short distance running and soccer which needs very fast short distance running and for soccer the force they generate from their lower bodies to kick the ball is immense. The east Africans lack all those quality skills by nature.
