The disintegration of Amara

Amara has never been a whole and cohesive group. It is and it has been a hotchpotch assortment of disparate groups of languages, cultures and religions brought together to exploit by shiftas who proclaimed themselves kings. It has Jews and Muslims the most persecuted groups who were denied to own lands until recently unless they christianize. Catholics remains of the Portuguese imports. And now minority protestants who face disturbing violence.
There are also persecuted language groups who are struggling for freedom out of Amara, some with a gorilla force such as Agew, Qimant and Gumuz whom they used to insult them as shanqilla meaaning dark and ugly.
Others such as Argobas(a single coherent unit dating back to 1200s) and Wellos comprising Afars, Oromos and Amaras want to have their own regions out of Amara in a legal struggle due to discriminations and massacres.
The orthodox Christian extremist majority expressed in Boko Haram Fano wants to keep the status of ethnic and religious oppression as used to be and reap the proceeds inequality and alienation.
This is a moral outrage to all those who believe in a just and free Ethiopia.
