1. Gurage built about 40 km of road, the extent of the distance from Gurage border with Hadiya to Hosana City, free of charge, by the contributions of the Gurage people, rich and poor. It was built by the Gurage Roads Construction Organization. It connected Hosana to Addis Abeba through Welkite City.
2. Less than 2 years ago, Gurage Zone donated EB 25 million toward the construction of a Qebena hospital.
3. Last year, Butajira City donated EB 5 million for the construction of a Mareqo hospital.
4. The armadillo q*mata tribe of Amara that Gurage stood shoulder to shoulder to soothe their pains during eprdf era is now supplying arms and serving as a sympathetic mouthpiece to these ungrateful bunch to terrorize and displace Gurage.

True. There are armadillos all over Gurage, especially in Abeshge, the Gurage region surrounding Welkite and west of it. Also, they can recruit them from:
Weliso, Amata, Wenchi and Ambo. All within 60kms of Welkite at most.
