If you really think Gojjam & Gurage are genetically linked, how is Gojjam is the most bravest heroic people while Gurages are the cowardest [ deleted ] group?
Those assimilated Gafats you talk about are the likes of hachallu hundessa, Bakala Garba....etc who now consider themselves Oromos but their land (Damot and Enariya) was taken by Oromos and forced to assimulate to Oromo society. I am referring to western shoa, part wollega and illubanur here.
As to Gafats amongst us in Gojjam, we don't deny that a few remnants escaped Oromo onslaughts and crossed the Nile river making home but their number is small and quickly assimilated. That is the nature of business where the strong eat the weak. Since Gurage is weak and coward. It is now being eaten by Oromo. Facts !!
