The question that should be asked and has the simplest answer—is this:
While the war/fight has been between the OLF and PP (who targeting Amhara) and Amhara, who let the Wurage dogs out to shout on behalf of the OLF? Astonishingly, none of the groups from southern Ethiopia —even those privileged with regional (kilil) status have yelled at Amhara. They have chosen to remain respectfully neutral and yet Wurage have become the b!tch used by OLF-PP.
The dogs that came out on their own accord should not be disappointed when they get backhanded. They miscalculated, expecting to be rewarded with scraps and empty bones thrown their way.
