The name Amhara looks like a language, religion and political construct than a separate ethnics!

There must have been a political reason to make rulers Amharanized covering their mixed ancestory

I don’t know much about that!

Why these opressers were hiding their real identity is beyond imagination!

While the Amhara thing was a culture in itself, I don’t know why everybody wanted to be called Amhara than being proud of their identity
