They called us out to join other Ethiopians who told this history in a more elaborate ways including forming liberation fronts to lay new foundations for the making of a new Ethiopia. I am surprised they did this 'favor' to Gurage's nationalism in a calculation of show of strength for a bigger pie from outside Ethiopia.

I heard Kasu's parents were Gurage and Sidama. May be Ilala is a Sidama traditional name.

It's not just Kasu; all Gurage politicians assinged to Gurage have behaved hostile to Gurage including the present Gurage ruler Dr.Endashaw Tasew, former SNNPR president Erstu Yirda. High profile holders in Ethiopian government have advised the Ethiopian government in crafting oppressive policies especially made for Gurage. Presently, Dr.Berhanu Nega who owes Gurage lots of apologies and the generals of the feudal monarcky such as W.Sellasie Bereka and others have weakened Gurage nationalism. Their loyalties have been for their job security not for Gurage welfare and future.

That is true. ጌዝ is kind of farmers cooperative or rotation work to plow land for or plant enset. I remember that in a very young age.

Kasu cold be a sodo as horus said if the word ኢላላ exists there. I initially thought ኢላላ was a silte word!
