Turkey is wasting valuable political and diplomatic resource on certain final issues.
The independence of Somaliland is final, it is a terminal issue. Turkey cannot reverse the independence of Somaliland. so, why are they wasting resource on opposing SLR?
The Israeli recognition of Somaliland is also final and permanent. So, why bring it up with Ethiopia? Ethiopia cannot make Israel withdraw its recognition.
Ethiopian quest for sea access is permanent and fixed. No power can make Ethiopia drop its existential need for sea access. For Ethiopia, this is the central negotiating card. Ethiopia will make deals with any power that supports her effort to secure a sea access.
