Here is the question you need to ponder in the next six months:
Will Issaias Afeworki die like Muamar Qaddafi of Libya, or escape like Bashar al Assad of Syria?
My answer is that thru out his life, Issaias has been obsessed about his own survival and self preservation. Therefore, he will do everything to escape from death in Eritrea, where he had committed heinous crimes against humanity.
It is logical to conclude, Issaias knows the end of his power is coming.
His preparation to escape from Eritrea with his grand children and family via Sudan to Saudi Arabia is complete. Unless Issaias is struck by a sudden drone attack, he will definitely escape like the Syrian Bashar al Assad, when Eritrea starts to sink in chaos, as Abiy Ahmed's forces push to Eritrea.
Issaias Afeworki's final words to dupe Eritreans, as he escapes will be:
We will resume our armed struggle from the mountains of Nakfa.

This relentless quest for self-preservation at any cost has now reached its climax, where Shaebia is at a deathbed struggle to out-survive Eritrea ...

What makes the revolutionary journey that Eritreans have embarked on in the past 50 years a March of Folly is that, after all the prohibitive human cost it required to reach the destination, it turned out to be a circular one that ends exactly at the very point where it all started – and that is, under best scenario. If not, the desperate attempt not go back to the starting point, by prolonging the ghedli detour indefinitely, will be the end of Eritrea as a nation.

Issaias will never die like Qaddafi

Predicts devastation from Migdol to Aswan, directly impacting the Ethiopian border.
