Looking to victimize Gurage in anticipation of foreign support which is a political tradition in Amara and for healing from wounds it sustained by combined forces of Eritrea, Tigrey and Oromo, its closest neighbors and parners in crimes and a section ofbitself.

A wrong strategy. It did not save Tewdros by selling out Yeju Oromos including his own father-in-law Ras Ali. Selling out 2/3 of the Baria tribe in Eritrea did not save Yohannis throat from the Mahdist's knife.
