Wellega Elites have a mindset that they sold to the Welega People years which in alliance with Liberation fronts sought to gain independence of Oromia using the casus belli of Habesha elites governing Oromia as a reason. When the Italians invaded Ethiopia in 1936 the Welega elites formed a party named "Western Galla Confederation" and attempted to gain independence from Ethiopia.

Now that Oromia is free and governed by its own elites they still cry and use the same talk such as Garbummaa, Sirnaa Naftanyaa, Tegezan, "Ethiopia is a Empire" rhetoric

Still you miss the point!

If they had a solid stand and fought for independence or whatever sort of politics they represent, it wouldn't have been so much a problem like the one that they constantly swinging from the one end to the extreme opposite.

They claimed to stand for Oromia's independence for decades and once the current PM Abiy Ahmed came to power and declared "we are Ethiopians while living and Ethiopia when dead" (ስንኖር ኢትዮጵያዊ፣ ስንሞት ኢትዮጵያ) the same Wollega politicians came in their droves, partly dropping off like a hot potato their own "political" adherents to join in the incumbent (get some left-over power shares) and forgot their own year long campaign platforms (of liberating Oromia). Once the power was no more there to grab, then they turned back and declared the current government is the worst enemy of the Oromo people, forgetting what they were telling us just before a year or so.

Only such a kind of standpoint (or lack of thereof) can explain your own blatant declaration of
