Reading this letter, it not only suggests a threat that the Eritrea province could be invaded by Oromummaa, but it is also highly contemptuous toward Shabia. It reads more like an instruction—do this or else—without even acknowledging Shabia as a relevant force.
Or the letter may suggest that Abiy Ahmed has completely lost hope because of his inability to defeat Fano and his fear of the imminent collapse of his Oromummaa regime. As a result, he does not want to acknowledge that the OLF-PP is on the verge of being deposed. If deposition is the ultimate fate, then let Oromummaa use Shabia as an excuse for the defeat.
