I have stated on many occasions that Abiy Ahmed represents one of the most dangerous leadership failures in Ethiopia’s modern history. He is a reckless and unrestrained figure, willing to deploy grand and perilous falsehoods without regard for their consequences—falsehoods that directly undermine peace, stability, and progress in Ethiopia and across the sub region.

The plethora of evidence about this deeply disturbed and destructive character is not anecdotal; it is abundant and well-documented. One such example is the open letter written by Dr. Gedu Andargachew, the former Foreign Minister now in exile in USA, published in response to Abiy Ahmed’s recent public reference to him before the so-called parliament and broadcast through state-controlled media. Dr. Gedu’s letter is not merely a rebuttal—it is an indictment.

What is fundamentally at stake is this: Ethiopia today is ruled with an iron fist by an individual who is bereft of the very qualities the nation urgently needs in its leadership—human values, integrity, loyalty, moral restraint, and principled judgment. The absence of these qualities at the highest level of power has had catastrophic consequences.

The deeply flawed and sociopathic nature of Abiy Ahmed’s leadership is not incidental; it is central to the unfolding tragedy of Ethiopia. Abiy Ahmed is not only a pathological liar and demonstrably ignorant of the complexities he claims to master. What is perhaps even more disturbing is the deep animus he appears to harbor toward the Ethiopian people themselves—an animus that seems particularly pronounced toward Amharas and Tigrayans. This hostility manifests not merely in rhetoric, but in policy, action, and calculated indifference to mass suffering.

Dr. Gedu Andargachew’s revelations serve as a powerful reminder and a sobering warning to Ethiopians—especially to Abiy Ahmed’s cadres, enablers, and media mouthpieces. They expose, with clarity and credibility, the profoundly defective character of the man they continue to defend as a “leader,” and they underscore the heavy price the nation is paying for that collective denial.

ገዱ አንዳርጋቸው አብይ አህመድን በጥፊ አጩሎታል። እንዲህ ዓይነትስ ውርደት በዘራችሁ አይድረስ ነው ያለው - ብርሃኑ ጁላ?! ለነገሩ ሰውዬው እልም ያለ ቀጣፊ እንደሆነ የማያውቅ ካለ ያልተወለደ ብቻ ነው። የገዱ ምላሽ አስደማሚ ነው። ከጽሁፉ በፊት ገዱን አግኝቼው ነበር። በሰውዬው እጅግ እንዳፈረበት ነገረኝ እንጂ እንዲህ ዓይነት ድንቅ ምላሽ እያዘጋጀ እንደሆነ ፍንጭ አልሰጠኝም። ሰውዬውን እርቃኑን ለአደባባይ አጋልጦታል።

ለነገሩ አብይ አህመድ ምንተፍረት የሌለው፥ ዓይነ ጠጠር፥ ነውርን ጌጡ ያደረገ፥ ክህደትን እንደካባ የደረበ፥ ቅጥፈትን እንደአንገት ሀብል አንገቱ ላይ ያንጠለጠለ እጅግ አሳፋሪ ሰው ነው። በእርግጥ ስለትግራይ ህዝብ ያለውን ጥላቻ ለማወቅ የገዱን ምስክርነት መጠበቅ የግድ አልነበረም። መቀሌን በሸሻ አድርገናታል ማለቱ፥ የሱን ቅኝት ተከትለው ደግሞ ብርሃኑ ጁላና አዳነች አበቤ የትግራይን ህዝብ 'ጥርግ በሉ' ያሉትን በማስታወስ አብይ አህመድ ማክሰኞ ዕለት ሊጫወታት የቋመጣትን ድራማ ጡጦ ያልጣለ ህጻን እንኳን በቀላሉ የሚረዳው ነው ማለት ይቻላል።

ገዱ ጢባ ጢቤ ተጫውቶበታል። የብልጽግናው መንደር ከገዱ ደብዳቤ በኋላ ጸጥ ረጭ ብሏል። ትንፋሹም አይሰማም። ጣዖታቸውን እሳት እንዳየ ላስቲክ ኩምሽሽ የሚያደርግ የመልስ ምት ከገዱ ተሰጥቷልና ቀና የሚሉበት አቅም የሚኖራቸው አይመስልም። ክር የሌለው ሰው፥ የማህተብ ትርጉም የማይገባው አብይ አህመድ ለቃሉና ለህሊናው አንገቱን ከሚሰጠው ገዱ አንዳርጋቸው የተሰጠው ምላሽ የብልጽግናውን መንደር በማቁሰሉ ሰሞኑን ቁስላቸውን እያሹ በራቸውን ዘግተው ከቤታቸው እየቆዘሙ ይቆያሉ።

What clearly shows the level of Abiy's stupidity is that he never considered what Gedu's response might be. It is not that he is a congenital liar that should be a concern to everyone but that he is an utterly stupid liar. It is obvious that his whole personality was shaped by the trauma of his upringing as a fatherless [deleted] who had to hustle and lie his way about to survive. He would have been a most dangerous person had his IQ been higher than what it is. As it is, he keeps f.u.c.k.i.n.g himself everytime he tries to outsmart others.
