Gurage politics is weirdest in Ethiopia

Post by Dama » 01 Feb 2026, 07:10

Gurage politics is progressively getting weirder than ever. It negates the values modern Ethiopia stands for.

Modern and progressive Ethiopua is known for ending feudalism, cultural and linguistic revivals, and economic progress through removal of feudal lords, military junta and the TPLF hegemoney. Now, the nation is battling the Play Boy "7th King" dictatorship from Beshasha, Oromia.

All enemies and resistors were and still are Ethiopians. We fought them and still fight them because oppression has no colors, no tribe and religion. Majority of us are proud that we opposed oppressions, paid sacrifices in statelessness in refugee camps, imprisonment, getting injured and killed but removed the oppressions to move Ethiopia forward.

Against this truth, Gurage honored an author who argued in his books that Gurage did not have and do not have to fight these perpetrators of oppressions for they were not aliens, that they were/are us Ethiopians. I was disgusted to see him dressed in caba with the title of Agaz.
