I doubt an average worshiper knows that. They mention in the bible some shadowy verses and tell you martyrs and angels can help to intercede.

Well it looks EoC makes you the Tabot if they like you like beyoncé and ispeed.
I wish the orthodox abandoned Tabot and don’t bring out it for secular people like ispeed and beyoncé who are not even christians by many standard.
Tabot in Ethiopia is an influence of Solomonic dynasty kings and old testament Jewish tradition. Only Eritrean and Ethiopian orthodox churches carry Tabot to celebration.
EoC traditions have been used by ethiopian dictator rulers through out centuries to subdue their minions by showing that they are God assigned leaders through the influence of church and it is woven into culture in society.
