First of all, the galla seems to have great hope that drones are some how magical weapons who can turn the furture of war in your advantage which is wrong assumption. First unless, you have well motivated and war spirited warriors in form of infantry, you are not going to win wars,,and the Galla and ethiopians in genrals are shi@ity when it comes to have excellent infantry formation, that is of course unless they use human wave. Second, having drones from different manurfactors and different models is maintainance nighmare.

Here is the definition of "copyright": the exclusive legal right, given to an originator or an assignee to print, publish, perform, film, or record literary, artistic, or musical material, and to authorize others to do the same.

Here is the definition of "patent": a government authority or license conferring a right or title for a set period, especially the sole right to exclude others from making, using, or selling an invention.

You can reproduce macines by permission of the originator of the product with a written license. Without it should be a hostile action from enemies. If the enemy from whom technoly is reproduced has facts that you in fact copied their technolog without authorization, they can take legal action against you at the World Trade Organization.
But you can improvise and patent the improvised technology without challenge by the originator of the machine.
