I think the Galla pullinged "the honorable" Hailu shawel stunt by claiming that his mother was an amhara and his father was a sub human galla...Today, he is claiming that both his father and mother are sub-human gallas

You are right. It was a ploy to trick the gullible idiots of Amharas who had sworn for unity and unity at all cost. They craved for it and he gave them. The guy even went to say ስንኖር ኢትዬጵያ ስንሞት ኢትዮጵያ and ኢትዬጵያ ሱሴ። True & reliable sources indicate that Abiy Ahmed is half Silte, & half Mareqo (a Gurage branch that is highly mixed with Oromos). Siltes are a minority toxic wuhabist branch that targets Orthodox christians. Abiy Ahmed killed his "own father" the guy who raised him (not biological father) when he started to tell the truth.

Mad respect to Dr Abiy Ahmed he's outliving his enemies. If popularity granted him power it would have also finished his power.
