This morning, the newly formed Afar rebel group, known as the Front for the Restoration of Unity and Democracy (FRUD), engaged in combat with Djibouti's military forces in the capital city of Djibouti. The Afar forces successfully overran a military base located near the city, resulting in the deaths of 15 soldiers and the capture of 20 others. The dictator in Djibouti faced significant losses today, having lost several towns to the FRUD rebels. Ismail Omar Geelle, the dictator, along with his family, has been in power in Djibouti since the 1970s.

Why are most of them from Ethiopia?

The questions I often ask myself:

- How do Ethiopians from a religiously diverse country, where they coexist peacefully, end up coming to Somalia for "Jihad"?

- Why do Somalilanders (Isaq), who also live harmoniously in their region, decide to come to Southern Somalia for "Jihad"?

The UAE is arming the FRUD rebel group via Ethiopia, at a risk of Ethiopia losing its only economic lifeline. Ethiopia without access to Djibouti's port is like Egypt without the Nile water.

Is Eritrea coming to help extinguish the fire there, or?
Trump is right Khamenei must go, but he should not go alone. As the USS Abraham Lincoln sails into the 5th Fleet’s area of operations, it will pass close to Eritrea. If Trump wants to cement his legacy as a man that defends Americans globally and stands up to American adversaries with all tools available, he should issue Eritrean dictator Isaias Afwerki an ultimatum: Step down and leave Eritrea in peace or end up like Maduro.
