The people of Ethiopia and Eritrea remember the Shah Of Iran and the queen of Iran in Asmara with HIM Haile Sellasie.
We remember the mayor of Asmara, Dejazmach Kentiba Haregot Abay handing the Shah the Key of the City.
Way, way centuries ago too, we remember the great Persian warriors.
As in the past, we are in awe now of how brave and determined you are to free yourself from the tyrant Ayatollahs of the Islamic Iran.

It is true, HIM was the main guest seated beside the Shah and the Queen. Historical records indicate that the French President and diplomats were very angry but the Shah never budged. He had the greatest respect to HIM Haile Selassie.
