Eritrea Launches Landmark Digital Customs System, Modernizing Trade

In a landmark move toward accelerating economic modernization and trade facilitation, the State of Eritrea has inaugurated a new, sophisticated digital customs management system. This strategic initiative, developed with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and international partners, successfully replaced a legacy software system operational since 2007 with a fully modern and adaptable digital platform.

Today Ethiopias GDP is $160B while Eritreas GDP is only $2B

Ethiopias GDP will continue to grow and is not based on the BIRR international value. The BIRR can remain good between $100-$300 per 1$ USD.

Ethiopia Airlines alone generates $7B annually which is triple the size of Eritrea Economy!

The current drastic devaluation was ordered by IMF and not an independent decision of the dying PP regime. What was $1-57birr is now $1-157 birr.

BTW, if PP wants coninued IMF financing, it has to sell Ethiopian Airlines, So, what will Abiy do, sell or ?
