Because the African Union is headquartered in Addis Ababa in error.
We self-respecting Africans are considering to move the AU to either Cape Town, South Africa or Cairo, Egypt, to correct the terrible error made some 63 years ago.

Don't bring Chinese, the U.S will target Ethiopia to compete economic resource. Once the country is targeted, china will look the other way! Syria, Lybia, Yemen, Venezuela, etc have been target both Russia and China will not come to the rescue!
