What did you learn from him?
He traversed the peaceful road by exiting the student movement at its decisive stage. A coward by choice, at best uncommitted for political action. And decided to live long shutting up his mouth even he saw wrongs in the safety of academia.

ጥያቄህ መሆን የነበረበት ባህሩ ዘውዴ ምንን ያሳይሃል? የሚል መሆን አለበት! ባህሩ ሆረስን የሚያሳየኝ መስተዋል ነው። እኔ ነፍስ ካወቁበት ግዜ ጀምሮ የማያቸው የክስታኔ ስኬታሞች ሁሉ ከነማን እንደ ተፈጠርኩኝ ፣ ከምን አይነት አክሪ ሕዝብ እንደ ተፈጠርኩኝ ነው የሚነገረኝ። ጥንት በጎንደር ዘመነ መንግስት ክስታኔው ራስ ዘስላሴ ልከ እንደ ሃብቴ ዲነግዴ የኢትዮጵያ ጦር አዛዥ ነበር። የኢትዮጵያ ምሰሶ ከሆኑት ወገን መፈጠሬን የማጣጥምበት ነው ይህ ሳይ! ዛሬ ላይ ፕሮፌሰር ባህሩ ዘውዴን የሚልቅ ምሁር በኢትዮጵያ የለም !!! ክራበት ወገንህ ነው!
አንተምኮ ፈሪ ሆነህ ከሞት ተርፈህ ነው ይህን የምትለው! ልዩነቱ እሱ ኢትዮጵያ በዚህ ልክ እየገነባ ነው! አንተ ግ ን ምንም ሆነህ ስኬታምችን ስትራገም እድሜህን ምትገፋው 1

Kurabet! But you have to be qualitative. The quality of Ethiopians that make yequrt ken lijoch are those who are selfless, who do not fear, who use their intellectual endowment to make the lives of Ethiopians better by advocating for justice, for equality and democracy. I would recommend you to be proud of Prof. Bedlu Wakjira, a linguist and published poet. A true of son Gurage and Ethiopia.
Clearly there are many avenues you help Ethiopia . Direct political leadership. Advocacy for change in print(papers snd books) and electronic media.
He wrote but not for the people but to appease existing governments such as the eprdf during Meles and supported in his feature report the continuation of the illegal culture of prostitution.
Mainly in his book, I read it long time ago and it outraged me. If I remember the title correctly, it read "Challenges to Democracy from Below". He described and condemned cutomary laws like Seras in Gurage, Kembata, Hadiya, Sidamo, etc as resistances to implementation of democracy in Ethiopia.
Not every book publisher is Ethiopia's hero. Seek and honor quality.

የጻፉትን መጽሓፎች ሆነ ጽሑፎች ኣጋጥሞኝ ኣንብቤ ኣላዉቅም።
ስለ ፕሮፌሰር ባህሩ ዘዉዴ ትንሽ ሰምቼ ብዙ ጥያቄዎችን ኣስጠየቀኝ።

They are neither Egyptologists nor classicists to answer your question whether they can validate your fantasy that Oromo created the ancient Egyptian civilization.
