Djibuti's outrage against Ethiopia seems to come from Ethiopia's wrong posture

Djibuti's anger and rage is the kind of emotionallly intense response that comes from a person who's wounded, disrespected and insulted.
Ethiopian diplomats including the Play Boy PM Abiy Ahmed are to blame. For avoidance of blame resulting from their bad behavior to Djibuti, they would not disclose what they said to Gulleh and his handlers.
I just couldn't see it in any other way other than childish, immature and Ethiopia-the-superior posturing which resulted in automatic rage by Djibuti.

Djibouti is scared of the dimwit in Arat Kilo. Djibouti knows there is no way on earth Abiy is going to war with Eritrea for that means his funeral. So, they are worried that he might try to take Djibouti. Their alliance with Egypt cannot be explained any other way.

You are, your mindset about Djibuti, a miniature characterstic of the relics of imperial chauvinism. You disrespected Djibuti as"chatam, others as a "mini state", still other may have prejudicial view of a state "living off our pay check".

Such unspoken prejudices may have displayed themselves unconsciously and inadvertently during negotiations. I have no hard facts for the botched approach other than to say Djibuiti's total outrage needs to be explained.

So, listen to Alemneh Wase - he is literally asking Egyptians to come and defend Djibouti, Somalia or Eritrea. Ethiopia needs a 3rd Adwa to settle the Egyptian matter once and for all. We want Egyptian to stand like a man and fight us rather than their coward proxy use of slaves like Eritrea, Weyane, Hassan Sheik or the Chat addict lazy rent collector Djibouti.

Dumbito,

If Abiy attacks Djiubouti, it will be the end of Ethiopia. The reason Djibouti is concerned, and rightly so, is because Abiy is a dimwit who might miscalculate as he has been doing for the past 7 years. Egypt is already in Djubouti and there is nothing you can do about it. By the way, Horsey, do you seriously imagine the Arab League, of which Djubouti is a member, is going to allow the starving Ethiopians to attack one of their members. God, these people are hopelessly stupid!
