I remember reading a comment made by almaze/Misraq, where he dedicated an entire paragraph admiring Deqi Arawit's strong lying skills, and advocating for his dishonesty to get rewarded.
I had to temporarily leave my Eritrean body to be able to understand the Ethiopian culture rooted in dishonesty. It was the worst out of body experience ever. Their reality is so ugly that many of them try to escape the reality by pretending to be someone they're not.
