My Dear Countrymen/Women Wherever You Are!!

I would like to take a moment to wish you a Happy New Year full of joy and success. In the meantime, let's keep all those noble people we left behind in our daily prayers and thoughts that 2026 will usher them a year of peace, stability and security they have been lacking all along. Insha'Allah!!!

Meanwhile, let's all make a commitment and New Year resolution that we will refrain from saying anything that wedge divisions among those fraternal people we all left behind. Let's make an oath that we will never use terms like Oromummaa, Neftegna and Woyane to demonize and belittle people of linguistic groups ever again. You will be blessed.

Congratulations my very dear brothers and sisters of Somaliland for being recognized as a sovereign and independent nation by a powerful UN member nation. I have a fond memory of Somaliland going back to the late 1960's. I used to listen to a soothing sound of music played with a flute. Before that two of my early childhood friends were of the Isaaq clan whose parents migrated from Somaliland while it was still under the British rule.
I hope and also tend to believe that Brother H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud understands by now that 1960 will not repeat itself again and it is too late with Somaliland. Who is next? Britain? France? UAE, Qatar, Germany? Al-Toweel Isu, may be? He may have to consult el-Sisi first.

You deserve such recognition.

It is now reported that some countries have come out speaking against Israel's recognition of Somaliland as an independent and sovereign nation.
Such news of opposition should not come as a surprise when you notice who did it. Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Türkiye and the masters of making citizens disappear without a trace in Beijing. My longtime homeboy Al-Toweel Isu is mums is the word with him so far. I’m sure he will come out swinging to teach us a thing or two about ‘Uni-Polar and Multi-Polar’ quantum physics.
On the hand Brother H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is doing a good job of trying to pacify and stabilize his part of Somalia. It is good news that he is planning to hold a general election in 2026. I and we should all wish him success in such blessed effort. He also seems to accept the reality that the need for secession is dead in the so-called Ogadenia and The Northern Frontiers(except with those in Minnesota). Right on, brother!!!

Gambella has been in the news lately where innocent human lives were lost and properties destroyed by good-for-nothing miscreants. This is what I have been saying. Bigots are everywhere. In some areas they have been in the open and wreaking havoc in Tigray, Amhara and Oromo regions, In other areas they have been waiting foe the opportune time. They are now killing and pillaging in Gambella. These are more than bigots. They are misogynists thinking they can do much better than a woman president. They think she is not qualified for the job because she is a woman. But they may be nudging, poking and irritating a calm lioness before they awaken the Taytu in our daughter/sister. You watch those misogynistic bigots running in all directions for cover!!!

Eritrea was the last country on my mind that will come out swinging against this recognition by Israel. It shows how hypocrites are Al-Toweel Isu and his entourage. It also exposes their deep rooted Anti-Semitic hatred they harbor for Israel. The fact is the people of Somaliland had a history of self governance for centuries before the British arrived in the 19th century. Eritrea never had such history until 1991. The only time they were separated from the people who are currently part of Ethiopia was when they were colonized by the fascist Italy and the British administration that followed for a brief 11 years between 1941 and 1952. What boldface hypocrites!!!

I highly suggest to Kenya and Ethiopia to press the government of Türkiye to clarify what its officials mean by 'will of the Somalis'.
