A Letter from Leonardo da Vinci to Vice President JD Vance: An Attempt at a Satire

Post by Naga Tuma » 23 Dec 2025, 01:18

I heard yesterday, on December 22, 2025, a clip of news report where Vice President JD Vance said the United States of America is a Christian nation.

His statement quickly reminded me of Leonardo da Vinci.

I searched for what Leonardo da Vinci might have said about spirituality.

I found the following quote as his last words:”I have offended God and Mankind, by doing so little with my life.”

I met his spirit, which gave me the following letter for Vice President JD Vance.

His excellency, Mr. Vice President JD Vance:

You may have read or heard about my last words before my departure.

To this day, I rest in my grave in regrets for my offenses against the Almighty and Humankind for doing so little with my life.

I have become weak to rise. I can only roll in my grave because, to repeat, I have offended the Almighty and Humankind for doing so little with my life.

The Almighty revealed to me the symmetry of the Vitruvian Man.

Who would have thought before that revelation that the circular symmetry is universal for Humankind and that the Almighty is the eternal anchor of humanity?

I failed to travel throughout the world with the Vitruvian Man. I failed to travel from north to south and from west to east throughout the world.

I failed to travel to the land of the Pharaoh par excellence Akhenaten turned Prophet Moses, from the land of Goddess Athena to that of Guru Krishna, from that of Joshua to the land of the Buddha, from the land of Ashanti to that of Maya.

Can anyone not imagine how much I regret that I have offended the Almighty and Humankind by doing so little with my life?

By failing to travel to the lands of the nobles and their lords throughout the world, I failed to interpret the Council of Nicaea to write Testament for Eternity and preempt the malice that afflicted humanity by colonizing empires.

I helped open the doors to science. Nonetheless, I gather that you speak of Christianity as an anchor in a land that my former students stood to promote the progress of science.

How can I not regret and roll in my grave when science is not promoted in good faith. I failed to make that it be so.

Had I not failed by doing so little with my life, I might have had a great chance to make spirituality universal through Testament for Eternity after interpreting the Council of Nicaea.

I would not be resting in regrets if I tried even though I ask myself who I am to preach about an anchor for humanity. Teaching and sending Prophets and a Messiah are of the Almighty. I can only reach or meet them in spirits.

I also gather that Governor Shapiro of Pennsylvania gives testament to the universality of all faiths in the same nation from where you spoke.

Furthermore, I gather that your beloved and the Second Lady of your nation, Mrs. Usha Vance, comes from a heritage that is knowledgeable about Raju.

How do I fail to regret for doing so little with my life when I could have interpreted the Almighty’s miracles throughout the world, from ancient times to my time?

How do I fail to regret for doing so little with my life and bother you by writing you this letter when I might have been able to do it centuries ago.

Therefore, I regret that this letter bothers you.

On a positive note, I have helped traveling in your time a lot easier, whether it is aboard the flying machine I imagined or by other means that came out the doors of science that I helped open.

I get solace in learning that my inventions travel around the world as a collection of an exhibit.

Forward.

Leonardo da Vinci.
